The 8 Most Needlessly Detailed Wikipedia Entries. Like most of the new stuff at Cracked magazine, this is pretty funny.(Of course, being funny doesn't make it literally true. As usual, the comments sections are buzzing with people pissed off about articles being deleted.)

Well, they obviously have a weird definition of "detailed". There's hardly much details in the Unicode Character list, and the 7th Heaven is long, but not "unnecessarily detailed" by any definition compared to most other members. It's long, but that's due to the sheer amount of episodes, not the amount of details (I wouldn't be surprised if List of The Simpsons episodes was actually longer, and it doesn't even include episode summaries).
Sure -- I take Cracked articles with several bushels of salt, generally.
These two just look off amongst the rest (I'm reminded of the infamous Jedi sword fighting article now)
I wondered why all these items appeared on the top of wikirage

Wikipedia is an open-source encyclopedia. It's radically open — anyone can edit it — and increasingly relevant. This unofficial weblog tracks its progress (and lifts quotes).
