Gamespot/Joystiq: MS veep drops wikipedia buzzword: "We're going to take on the Wikipedia model. We're going to take on...the open-source model, if you will, for gaming."

While on the surface the line is a bit simplistic (systems like wikipedia are socially complex, and setting them up is very difficult -- and there are plenty of differences between the wikipedia and spore models), it's good to see the power of distributed content generation getting noticed.
